We are seeking a Compliance Coordinator to ensure adherence to site and external standards, including internal audits, non-conformances, iAuditor compliance, validation projects, and KPI reporting.
Position details
- Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Hours: 37.5 per week
- Shift: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30
- Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (dependent on experience)
- Breaks: 30 minutes
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update internal audits (GMP, Glass & Plastic, Fabrication) on the iAuditor system.
- Conduct GAP analyses and ensure compliance with retailer codes of practice.
- Keep retailer audit templates current in iAuditor.
- Manage non-conformance reports and trend analysis.
- Identify trends, root causes, and implement preventative actions.
- Ensure timely closure of actions and present data at meetings.
- Manage the audit schedule and ensure compliance with standards.
- Provide internal audit training and maintain auditor independence.
- Develop and update the iAuditor system, including SKU updates and transitioning to paperless audits.
- Support continuous improvement and KPI reporting, including taste panel analysis.
- Lead site-specific projects and update SOPs for new equipment.
- Work with external auditors and manage expectations.
- Support site validations and heat mapping.
Qualifications and skills
- Experience in internal auditing, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 certification or higher.
- Understanding of customer and retailer standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with external auditors.
- Proficiency with digital audit platforms like iAuditor.
- Organized, deadline-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
