Job summary

Believe Housing Limited is seeking a Compliance Assurance Officer to join the team in Seaham and Bishop Auckland, with flexible working patterns and a mix of offsite and onsite duties.

The successful candidate will conduct regular audits of asbestos, fire, legionella, lifts and radon, monitor compliance metrics, support corrective actions, and report performance to stakeholders to ensure statutory obligations and internal policies are met.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular compliance audit reviews of Asbestos, Fire, legionella, Lifts and Radon to ensure continued assurance.
• Identify non-compliance issues and support the Compliance Manager to develop corrective action plans.
• Support the Compliance Support Team leader with reconciliation of data, checking and the quality of data.
• Produce, analyse and report key performance indicators and compliance performance information to various stakeholders and as part of organisational governance and performance forums.
• Support the Compliance Manager and Officers in the review of new regulations and legislation to provide information to the business on organisational impacts.
