About the role

We seek an energetic, self-starting Senior Compliance Officer to join our UK team. The role involves engaging with all compliance areas in our growing, innovative fintech business.

You will assist with daily compliance functions, advise on regulatory and financial crime matters, and participate in project groups for new products and propositions.

As part of a small but expanding team, you’ll actively participate in all business aspects and develop into an SME owning multiple compliance areas.

What you’ll do

• Regulatory & Compliance Reporting
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports per FCA and other requirements
• Conduct ARM reporting checks
• Produce compliance reports and MI packs for management and boards
• Conduct horizon scanning for regulatory changes and assess impacts

• Monitoring & Assurance
• Maintain compliance monitoring plans
• Execute compliance monitoring and assurance reviews
• Respond to alerts and investigate issues

• Governance & Controls
• Support policy reviews for regulatory alignment
• Track and resolve incidents and breaches
• Support GDPR compliance and data protection as DPO assistant
• Conduct PEP & sanctions screening

• Marketing, Conduct & Complaints
• Review and approve financial promotions
• Assist with complaints handling and root cause analysis

What you will need

• 3+ years in a compliance role within financial services
• Experience in regulatory reporting and monitoring
• Knowledge of AML/KYC and data protection principles
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
