InvestEngine, an innovative investment platform in the Fintech space, is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join our team in the UK. We aim to revolutionize how individuals manage their investments, offering unbeatable value and market-leading automation for long-term ETF investing.

About the role

We are looking for an energetic, self-starting Senior Compliance Officer to handle all areas of compliance within our growing, innovative fintech business. You will support daily compliance functions, advise on regulatory and financial crime matters, and participate in projects related to new products and propositions. As part of a small but expanding team, you will develop into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across multiple compliance areas.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and submitting regulatory reports in line with FCA and other requirements
• Conducting ARM reporting checks
• Producing compliance reports and MI packs for management and boards
• Horizon scanning for regulatory changes and assessing their impact

Monitoring & Assurance:

• Maintaining the Compliance Monitoring Plan
• Executing compliance monitoring and assurance reviews
• Investigating alerts and issues as they arise

Governance & Controls:

• Supporting policy reviews to ensure regulatory alignment
• Tracking and resolving incidents and breaches
• Supporting GDPR compliance and data protection as a DPO Assistant
• Conducting PEP & sanctions screening

Marketing, Conduct & Complaints:

• Reviewing and approving financial promotions
• Handling complaints and root cause analysis

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of compliance experience in financial services
• Experience with regulatory reporting and monitoring
• Knowledge of AML/KYC and data protection principles
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
