Job summary

Ann’s is a family-run care group based in Portadown, seeking a compliant and motivated HR Recruitment Administrator to join the growing Ann’s Childrens Care team. You will be part of a well-structured office team supporting recruitment and management, with daily administration and onboarding tasks.

The role requires at least 2 years in HR or recruitment, GCSEs (Maths & English), strong verbal and written communication, and proficiency in Microsoft applications.

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years paid experience in an hr / recruitment role.
  • Must be qualified to GCSE standard (including Maths and English)
  • Must be able to competently communicate in verbal and written word.
  • Must be computer literate, with working knowledge of all Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

  • Managing day to day administration duties
  • Attending interviews at different site locations.
  • Overseeing the recruitment process –References, Access NI/Garda Vetting/ CORU registration
  • Issue offer letters, contracts of employment and other onboarding documentation.
  • Maintain confidential staff records in accordance with GDPR and company policies
  • Manage the training schedule and schedule the subsequent induction of applicants
  • Ensure training room is set up ahead of all training sessions with sign in sheets
  • Provide Management team with regular updates of applicants currently in process;
  • Update MIS system with all new staff details – ensure all relevant details are documented and updated as necessary
  • Establish and manage staff files to ensure documentation remains in date for the duration of employment
  • Schedule Appraisals & Refresher training
  • Liaise with trainers and managers regarding mandatory and refresher training requirements.
  • Assist Home Manager with distribution of staff communication and training letters
  • Assist Managers in managing the recording of Monitoring paperwork to the MIS System
  • Assist area manager in dealing with staff disciplinary's
  • General office duties
  • Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role as reasonably requested by the Management Team

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be based in our Portadown office and will oversee the compliance during the recruitment process. Essential criteria:
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years paid experience in an hr / recruitment role
  • Must be qualified to G.C.S.E standard (including Maths and English)
  • Must be able to competently communicate in verbal and written word
  • Must be computer literate, with working knowledge of all Microsoft applications
Desirable criteria
  • Previous experience in a HR administrator role
  • Previous experience in Childrens Residential Care
