Job summary

Hales Homecare is seeking a compassionate Complex Support Worker in Scunthorpe to deliver nurse‑led care for individuals with complex health needs. You will manage complex medical needs, assist with daily living activities, and ensure accurate medication administration and documentation.

The role requires strong communication skills, reliability and a commitment to personalised care. A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Care experience within Learning Disability, Mental Health, Autism would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing Complex Medical Needs: Providing specialised care for individuals with complex needs such as tracheostomies, ventilators, PEG Feeding, and other complex medical needs.
• Providing Personal Care: Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, always maintaining dignity and respect.
• Administering Medication: Safely and accurately administering medication, following prescribed protocols and maintaining detailed records.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Observing and documenting changes in service users’ conditions and, communicating any concerns to the clinical team.
• Emotional Support: Building strong relationships with service users and their families, providing emotional support.
• Promoting Independence: Encouraging service users to participate in activities and decision‑making.

Complex Support Worker (Days or Nights)

Based in Scunthorpe

12 hour night shifts available on either day or night shift

Hourly Rate: From £13.71 per hour

Care experience within Learning Disability, Mental Health, Autism would be highly advantageous.

We specialise in providing exceptional homecare services to individuals in the community with complex health needs. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Complex Support Worker to help us continue delivering high-quality, nurse-led care.

Key Responsibilities:
