Jarrodean is seeking experienced Care Workers to join a Bristol-based specialist service caring for a patient with a tracheostomy and on a ventilator. The role requires flexibility, compassion, and the ability to work as part of a nurse-led team in the client's home or community settings.

Applications are invited from experienced Care Workers competent in caring for patients with a tracheostomy and on a ventilator, to join our client's specialist service based in Bristol. Bristol is famous for its vibrant culture, from its status as a global hub for street art, to its rich history in music, film, and engineering.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of this work and the request of the individual Service User, it is currently an occupational requirement that applicants for this post are female.

This current vacancy is working with a Service User with complex physical needs, requiring support 24 hours per day with a team of Care Workers day and night, overseen by a Registered Nurse
Duties include; Provision of fullpersonal care, practical day to day support with activities of day to day living ,emotional/psychological support, managing appointments, managing medication, trips out of the house, support with communicating with family and maintaining relationships with family, supporting the individual with maintaining their safety.
The salary for this post is £13.50 to £13.85 per hour (£26,300-£27,000 per year) based on experience for a 37.5 hour week usually on a rota of three long days one week / four the next, and we are open to hearing from applicants seeking a full-time, part-time or flexible hours opportunity.

Their collective experience in complex physical and mental health care means they can work with clients who have very complex needs, providing highly personalised, client-centred care in their own homes or community settings.
