Job summary

Marva is seeking an experienced Complex Care Nurse to join our community healthcare team, supporting children and adults with complex health needs in their homes and in community settings.

You will oversee clinical care plans, support healthcare assistants, and ensure high-quality, person-centred care, with ongoing training and clear career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active NMC pin.
• Minimum 2 years of post-registration experience in a complex care, community, or acute nursing setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for clients with complex needs (e.g., tracheostomy, ventilation, PEG feeding, seizure management).
• Develop, review, and implement individualised care plans in line with best practice and CQC standards.
• Deliver hands-on clinical support to clients and provide clinical training to support staff in the community.
• Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including GPs, community nurses, therapists, and families.
• Monitor and audit care quality to ensure compliance with clinical governance and safeguarding policies.

Required Criteria

• Registered Nurse with active NMC pin.
• Minimum 2 years of post-registration experience within a complex care, community, or acute nursing setting.
• Proven experience in at least one of the following: Tracheostomy care - Ventilation management - PEG / enteral feeding - Catheterisation and bowel management - Seizure management and medication administration
• Previous experience working in a homecare or community nursing role.
• Strong leadership, risk assessment, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Full UK driving license and own vehicle (required for community visits).

Desired Criteria

• Clinical training qualification or mentorship experience.
