Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a dedicated Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Tameside.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them develop both academically and personally.
As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a range of additional needs. You will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to help pupils access learning, manage their needs and build confidence and independence.
The role will involve:
Candidates must be comfortable providing personal care, including supporting pupils with toileting and personal hygiene, while always maintaining their dignity, privacy and wellbeing.
The ideal candidate will be:
Previous experience within SEND, complex needs, personal care, specialist education or similar support settings is highly desirable. However, transferable experience will also be considered.
