Complex Needs Teaching Assistant - Stockport£105 per day | 8:30am - 3:45pm | Secondary School | Tradewind Recruitment Are you a caring, patient and resilient Teaching Assistant with experience supporting young people with complex needs? Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a dedicated Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Stockport. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them develop both academically and personally.

About the Role

As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a range of additional needs. You will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to help pupils access learning, manage their needs and build confidence and independence.

• Supporting pupils with complex SEND needs
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support in lessons
• Helping pupils to regulate emotions and manage behaviour
• Supporting communication and social development
• Encouraging independence and life skills
• Working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals
• Supporting pupils with personal care and hygiene needs
• Maintaining a safe, calm and inclusive learning environment

Candidates must be comfortable providing personal care, including supporting pupils with toileting and personal hygiene, while always maintaining their dignity, privacy and wellbeing.
