Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is recruiting for a Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant at a specialist primary SEN school in Radcliffe, Bury.

This full-time, long-term role supports pupils aged 4-11 with a range of additional needs, working 1:1 and in small groups. You will work closely with teachers and therapists to implement personalised learning programmes, assist with communication strategies and sensory activities, and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Has experience supporting children or young people with SEND, complex needs or autism.
• Patient, resilient and enthusiastic about making a difference.
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils with communication and sensory challenges.
• Experience in education, care, support work, health and social care, psychology, or related fields.
• Comfortable supporting pupils with personal care needs when required.

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a specialist primary SEN school in Bury, seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 4-11 with a range of additional needs.

This welcoming and well-resourced school supports children with complex learning difficulties, autism, sensory needs, communication difficulties, and medical needs. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and therapists to provide tailored support that enables every child to thrive both academically and socially.

The Role

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with complex SEND needs
• Assist with communication strategies, sensory activities, and personalised learning programmes
• Support pupils with personal care where required
