GSL Education is currently recruiting a dedicated, resilient and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school supporting children and young people with severe and complex Special Educational Needs (SEN).
This is a rewarding full-time opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or Support Worker who is confident supporting students with complex needs, including students who are non-verbal, require personal care, and may display challenging behaviours.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who require a high level of individualised support. You may be supporting students on a 1:1 basis or within small groups, helping them to access learning, develop communication skills and participate in daily activities.

Manual handling experience or training would be highly desirable, although relevant experience and a willingness to support students with physical needs are also valued.
