TeacherActive Ltd. is seeking an experienced Complex Needs Teacher to work in a specialist Liverpool setting supporting pupils with Autism, MLD, SLCN, SEMH, and other complex needs.

The role involves delivering bespoke lessons, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to a holistic education pathway that includes academic learning, therapy, and life skills. You will plan personalised instruction based on EHCP outcomes, work with Speech & Language Therapists and other

Qualifications

• Experience working with pupils with SEND and complex needs.
• Ability to plan personalised learning based on EHCP outcomes.
• Comfort working in a multidisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across multiple curriculum pathways.
• Plan personalised learning based on EHCP outcomes and ongoing assessment.
• Teach small groups and individuals to promote independence and functional skills.
• Collaborate with Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Behaviour Support Specialists.
• Embed therapeutic strategies and Positive Behaviour Support into daily teaching.
• Support development in communication, employability skills, and preparation for adulthood.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews with families and external agencies.
