Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland in Mauchline is recruiting Complex Needs Practitioners Level 1s for a 36-hour week across 5 shifts, including evenings and weekends. This on-site role offers 24/7 staffing support within a modern housing project.

No care experience is required as we value your transferable skills; we will provide training, including a fully funded SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care. A UK driving licence (manual) and access to your own car are required.

Our services in Mauchline are currently recruiting for Complex Needs Practitioners Level 1s!

This state of the art housing project will provide responsive support through on-site 24/7 staffing.

We also have openings to provide direct 1:1 support to individuals moving into their new homes!

You do not need previous experience in Care to apply as we recruit on values and transferrable skills.

We'll give you all the training you need to be an amazing Complex Needs Practitioner including a fully funded SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care!

However, for these posts we are only able to consider applicants who have a UK Driving Licence for manual vehicles and access to their own cars.

This is a full time post consisting of 36hrs per week worked as 5 shifts over 7 days. Evening and weekend work is required.

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland provides personalised and outcome-focused support to over 2800 individuals in their own homes across Scotland, making us the country's largest provider of social care. We support individuals with a variety of different needs such as physical and/or learning disabilities, ongoing mental health issues, alcohol or substance abuse and autism.

The Role:

As a Complex Needs Practitioner, you will support individuals to live as independently as possible in their own homes.

This can include assistance with medication, general housework, meal preparation and personal care.

You would also provide social support within the service, accompanying individuals to any hobbies/events that they have on and participating in hobbies at home!
