Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is recruiting female Support Practitioners to help individuals in their own homes across Scotland. The role requires a manual UK driving license and offers full training including a funded SVQ.

You will assist with medication, finances, housework, meals and personal care, and support leisure activities. Working 25 hours weekly, you’ll join a compassionate team and receive ongoing in-house training, a travel allowance and generous leave entitlements as part of a

Our fantastic team in Newton Mearns are on the lookout for compassionate and creative individuals with a positive attitude to join them as Support Practitioners.

You don't need experience in care to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We’ll give you all the training you need to be an amazing Support Practitioner including a fully funded SVQ.

The Role:

Please note we can only consider applicants that are female and hold a manual uk driving license.

This role is for 25 hours.

As a Support Practitioner, you will assist individuals living in their own homes with disabilities and/or additional support needs in all aspects of their daily lives, including support with medication and finances, housework, meal preparation, cooking and personal care.

The people we support have a variety of different hobbies which we’ll be looking to you to take an active interest in, from going out for a tasty bite or catching the latest movie to a gym session or group activity, the list is endless.

To be part of our team, we’ll need you to:

We support individuals with a variety of different needs such as physical and/or learning disabilities, ongoing mental health issues, alcohol or substance abuse and autism. Some of the people we support can present challenging behavior or require a high level of personal care.
