Job Description: Complex Needs Practitioner

Join our enhanced substance use service in Wolverhampton as a Complex Needs Practitioner. We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and dynamic individual to help develop and expand our group and coursework psychological intervention programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create and deliver group and coursework programs focused on substance misuse.
  2. Manage a caseload of complex service users.
  3. Liaise with voluntary and statutory agencies, health professionals, and other stakeholders.
  4. Engage with clients across various service delivery settings.
  5. Contribute to the development of the service and intervention programs.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience working within the substance misuse field, with adults in addictions or social care settings.
  • Professional qualification in health/social care, youth or community work, or direct experience in delivering substance use interventions.
  • Good knowledge of alcohol/drug and health-related issues.
  • Experience liaising with agencies and health professionals.
  • Ability to engage clients effectively.
  • Flexible approach, confidentiality, excellent record keeping, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Additional Details:
  • This is a permanent role, 37 hours per week.
