Job summary

First Option Healthcare Ltd is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our expanding team, working one-on-one with a young patient at home in the United Kingdom.

Role includes caring for a 15-year-old girl with PEG feeding, tracheostomy, suctioning and personal care; you will follow care plans, attend appointments, and build rapport with the family while ensuring safe, high-quality home care.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering healthcare in home settings.
• Ability to manage PEG feeding, tracheostomy, suctioning, and personal care.

Responsibilities

• Using complex care equipment and carrying out complex care procedures.
• Supporting clients at appointments and outside the home when needed.
• Caring for patients in their own home and building rapport with family.
• Ensure care plans and other information are followed and changes escalated to clinical leads efficiently and safely.

Duties and responsibilities

• Using complex care equipment and carrying out complex care procedures
• Supporting clients outside of the home where required i.e., medical appointments.
• Caring for patients within their own home and building a rapport with family members
• Ensure care plans and other information are followed and any changes are escalated to clinical leads efficiently and safely.
