Job summary

Newcross Healthcare Solutions in Llanelli is recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our Community Care team. You will provide complex care to two brothers at home, supporting daily living, safety and wellbeing, with full training provided.

We offer flexible shifts (full-time and part-time), weekly pay and ongoing CPD opportunities. Strong values of empathy and teamwork guide our care and interactions with the family and wider healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of paid professional care experience
• Ability to understand both verbal and written English to follow care plans
• The right to work in the UK
• Registration with SSSC (Scotland) or SCW (Wales)
• Demonstrated empathy, integrity, respect and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Personal care and support: assist with daily routines to promote comfort and wellbeing
• Companionship: offer warmth, kindness and a friendly face
• Promoting independence: encourage clients to live with autonomy
• Community access: help clients engage in their local community
• Medication support: safe, timely administration of medications
• Shared package duties: assist with oral suction, PEG feeding, NIV management, oxygen, physiotherapy and cough assist
