Job summary

Newcross Healthcare Solutions is seeking experienced Female Healthcare Assistants to join our Community Care team in Bridgwater, supporting a child to return to school and manage complex care at home. The role involves 24-hour package coverage, including waking nights, and requires compassion, reliability and the ability to work independently.

We offer flexible shifts, ongoing opportunities, access to training and development, and immediate work available.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months of paid professional care experience (or personal care experience in the UK).
• Ability to understand English and follow care plans written in English.
• Registration with UK/SSc or SCW as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Personal care and support to promote comfort and wellbeing.
• Companionship and warmth for clients.
• Promoting independence and daily living skills.
• Support with community access and engagement.
• Medication support and gastrostomy feeding equipment management.
• Observe and report concerns related to medical devices and feeding equipment.
