Job summary

Newcross Healthcare Solutions in London is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our Community Care team, supporting individuals in their family homes with complex care needs, including visual impairment and PEG feeding. Female applicants only for this specific package; flexible shifts and reliable, independent working are valued.

We offer same day pay, long-term bookings, CPD training via FuturU, and a supportive team with 24/7 help. Full training and competency assessments provided.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months of paid professional care experience (or personal care experience in the UK).
• Female applicants only due to the specific care package available.
• Experience in complex care is desirable, including assisting with cognitive impairments or PEG feeding.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to understand both verbal and written English to follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Personal care and support: Assisting with daily routine management.
• PEG feeding, hydration and nutrition.
• Companionship: Offering warmth, kindness and a friendly face. Promoting confidence and social engagement while working towards the client's rehabilitation goals.
• Promoting independence: Providing encouragement and motivation to engage in daily tasks and meaningful activities like meal planning and cooking.
• Community access: Helping clients engage in their local community and volunteering opportunities.
• Medication administration, epilepsy and seizure management.
