Job summary

Radis Community Care is seeking dedicated Complex Support Worker staff to deliver person-centred, specialised care in the gentleman's own home in Clun near Ludlow. The role requires a full driving licence and using your own vehicle with business insurance due to the rural location and lack of public transport.

• Must have a full driving licence and own vehicle with business insurance.
• Knowledge of spinal cord injury and autonomic dysreflexia; understanding of accessible, person-centred support needs.
• Full specialist training will be provided for the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, bowel care, and medication as required.
• Perform manual handling tasks safely and support with meals.
• Support the gentleman with activities inside and outside of the home.
• Deliver person-centred, flexible care in the client’s own home.

Job description

Radis Community Care are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Complex Care staff to join our care and support team in the role of Complex Support Worker in Clun (near to Ludlow). Your role will involve delivering person-centred, specialised, flexible and needs based care to the gentleman we support in his own home. This will enable you to maintain a clinical and supportive overview of the people you support.

About the role

The location is very rural with no public transport therefore a full Driving Licence and the use of your own vehicle (with business insurance) is required.

We are looking for complex care staff that can build positive relationships with the gentleman we support and his family as we understand the importance that we play in their lives.

Specific training will be provided. You will assist with the gentleman we support with personal care, bowel care, manual handling, medication, meal preparation and activities outside of the home.

DAYS and NIGHTS available

Days - 08:00 to 20:00

Nights - 20:00 to 08:00
