Job summary

Radis Community Care is seeking dedicated Care/Support Workers to assist people living independently at home in Market Drayton. You will be a driver with your own transport, and work flexibly to meet service user needs.

The role includes personal care, daily living tasks, meal prep and domestic duties, with enhanced pay for calls involving Adult Learning Disability services. Full and Part-time hours, with structured training and career progression, are available.

Qualifications

• Must have own transport and driving license.
• Experience in care or support work preferred.
• Right to live and work in the UK.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide care/support to people living independently in their own homes.
• Assist with daily living tasks, personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light meal preparation and domestic tasks; administer medications as needed.
• Maintain privacy and dignity in all interactions.
• Work with Adult Learning Disability service users; enhanced pay for these calls.

About the role

You will need to be a driver with your own transport (car, motorcycle, moped etc) - the work is not suited to non-drivers

As a Support Worker - Community you will provide care/support to the people we support living independently in their own homes, that is flexible and responsive to their needs. This can include assisting them with daily living tasks, personal care and hygiene, light meal preparation and domestic tasks and medication - this will mean you’ll understand the importance of privacy and dignity – so important to everyone. You will also work with Adult Learning Disability service users – and receive enhanced pay for these calls.

And always with a kind smile and a supportive word, even when sometimes a day is challenging!
