Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home is a community care provider in the UK seeking compassionate Support Workers to assist a male client living with Locked-in Syndrome in his own home. The role includes personal care, medication administration, and managing clinical interventions, with driving duties in the community.

We value empathy, strong communication, and teamwork. Flexible hours are required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed. DBS check and references apply as part of safeguarding.

Qualifications

• 6 months care experience within the last 2 years (UK based).
• Drivers required - Manual licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex care needs including brain injuries, spinal injuries, physical disabilities, genetic and neurological conditions.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support to service users.
• Administer medications, and complete manual handling.
• Working with clinical interventions.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion.
• Build positive and professional relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
