Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home in Wigan is seeking compassionate, reliable Support Workers to join our team. You will support a male client with Locked in Syndrome, helping with daily living, personal care and medications in his home. Some shifts include evenings, nights and driving the client's van in the community.

Training is provided, and staff work to promote independence, dignity and inclusion while collaborating with families and professionals.

Qualifications

• 6 months care experience within the last 2 years (UK based).
• Experience supporting individuals with complex care needs including brain injuries, spinal injuries, physical disabilities, genetic and neurological conditions.
• Driver's license required (manual).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support to service users.
• Administer medications and assist with daily living activities.
• Support with clinical interventions as trained.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice and inclusion.
• Build positive relationships with service users, families and colleagues.
