Job summary

Claimont Health is seeking experienced Learning Disability Support Workers to assist clients with various mental health conditions in the Hailsham area. This part-time role includes weekend hours (e.g., Saturday 10am-3pm) and potential additional hours during school holidays.

You will help clients engage in community activities, support personal development, and maintain high professional standards. A UK driving licence and access to a car are required to carry out community-based duties.

• 1 year or more experience as a Mental Health Support Worker.
• Driving licence and access to a car.
• Flexibility, maturity, independence and carry a very high professional standard.
• Ability to maintain clear professional boundaries within a home setting.
• Commitment to delivering client specific care.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to engage in community-based activities for personal development.
• Assist during part-time hours in Hailsham, with additional school holiday hours if required.
• Safeguard welfare and follow safer recruitment processes including Enhanced DBS where applicable.

We are looking for high quality, dynamic and experienced Learning Disability Support Workers who have worked with a range of mental health conditions and age groups. If you have experience with supporting children or young adults with learning disabilities, ADHD and ASD, we would like to hear from you.

We have a Client requiring support in the Hailsham area. This is a part time position in Hailsham requiring some additional hours in school holidays.

Hours Available are as follows

• Saturday - 10am - 3pm

You will need to be an experienced support worker who can support our clients to engage in community-based activities, as part of their personal development and progression.

YOU MUST HOLD A UK DRIVING LICENCE AND HAVE ACCESS TO A CAR
