Job summary

Autism Together in Bromborough seeks a Complex Care Support Worker to help individuals with autism and learning disabilities in a residential setting. You will deliver person-centred care, follow PBS plans, assist with daily living, finances, and community activities, and maintain accurate medication records.

The role offers paid induction training, ongoing career progression, and opportunities to gain recognised qualifications and apprenticeships within a supportive team.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a UK Manual driving licence and have access to a car.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting people with autism and learning difficulties.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong understanding of person-centred approaches.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be able to pass a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.

In this vital role, you will be supporting individuals with complex needs within their home environment, helping them with daily activities, appointments, and personal care. Key responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex autism and learning disabilities.

About the role

As a Complex Care Support Worker, your day-to-day will be dynamic and deeply rewarding. Requirements
  • Driver with a UK Manual licence and access to a car

  • Desirable Level 2 or 3 in Health and social care.

  • Overtime pay: Overtime is available at an additional £1.20 per hour weekdays or £2.00 per hour weekends on top of your hourly rate of pay.

32 hours & 40 minutes per week
