Job summary

Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH, is hiring for a Complex Care role in Birmingham. You will provide daily living support for a young person with epilepsy and other health needs, including personal care, diet support and infection control.

You will monitor seizures, respond to triggers, and work closely with the family to ensure safe, consistent care and participation in activities. The role emphasizes independence, a calm and patient approach, and a strong advocate for the client’s needs and

Qualifications

• Experience with epilepsy and seizure management is beneficial.
• Caring and compassionate nature is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide full daily living support for a young person with complex health needs.
• Assist with personal care, bathing, dressing and continence; support with diet and infection control.
• Monitor for seizure activity, recognise triggers, and respond with prescribed rescue medication and emergency procedures when required.
• Work with the family to ensure safe, consistent care and support non-verbal communication; promote participation in activities.
