Job summary

Sugarman Health & Wellbeing is seeking compassionate Complex Care Assistants to support a gentleman in his 40s with a C2 spinal cord injury, living in his own home in Ripponden. The role provides 24-hour, 2:1 support with specialist clinical duties and community activities.

Full training is provided; candidates should be reliable, empathetic, and able to document care precisely. A driving licence is preferred for mobility-adapted vehicle support.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care settings is preferred.
• Ability to document care provided accurately and clearly.
• Willingness to drive a mobility-adapted vehicle is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2:1 personal and clinical care within the client’s home.
• Support daily living activities and community access.
• Deliver tracheostomy and ventilation-related tasks under supervision.
• Administer medications as directed and monitor health status.
