Job summary

Independent Community Care Management, part of CCH, is seeking carers to support a non-verbal young gentleman with very complex clinical needs in a 2:1 care package in Leicester.

You will assist with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration and specialized moving and handling, including regular oral suctioning as required by aspiration risk. DBS clearance is provided on request and full training is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical skills essential prior to interview: Medication Administration.
• Moving & Handling Equipment includes Postural Support, Sleep Systems, Hoist, Manual Wheelchair.

Responsibilities

• Look after a non-verbal young gentleman with very complex clinical needs.
• Provide personal care, food and medication preparation and administration.
• Perform specialist moving and handling and regular oral suctioning due to aspiration risk.
