Job summary

Sugarman Health & Wellbeing is seeking compassionate Complex Care Assistants to support a gentleman in his 40s who lives independently with 24-hour 2:1 support at home. Role includes clinical tasks (tracheostomy care, ventilator support, catheter care) and daily living assistance, helping him stay active in the community.

The team values empathy, reliability and patient-centred care, offering comprehensive training, career progression and enhanced bank holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' professional UK care experience.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to drive a mobility vehicle.
• Non-smoker/non-vaper.
• Physically able to support an active lifestyle, including walking and outdoor activities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document care provided and communicate with the individual, colleagues and family

Responsibilities

• Provide 2:1 support to enable independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing.
• Assist with daily living activities and community participation.
• Follow detailed care plans and clinical protocols.
• Record care provided accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Support with meals, dressing, mobility and safety in daily routines
