Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group in the South West is seeking a compassionate Complex Care Assistant to support a client with a spinal cord injury in his own home near Bugle, St Austell.

The role involves coordinating home therapies, attending medical and personal appointments, encouraging outdoor activity, and working closely with the client’s family. Full training and clinical support are provided in a supportive, person-centered environment.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided.
• For longer shifts, driving allowed only for candidates over 25 due to insurance policy.
• You’ll need to be caring and compassionate, and a good listener.

Responsibilities

• Assist with therapies at home, in local facilities, and at specialist centres in the South West.
• Support the client at medical and personal appointments and encourage outdoor activities.
• Work closely with the client’s locally based family and receive full training and clinical support in a supportive, person‑centred environment.
