About Us

At Gainsborough House, we are dedicated to providing exceptional nursing and complex care in a supportive environment. Our Complex Care Unit requiresspecialised support to address physical, cognitive, emotional, and behavioural challenges

We are now looking for compassionate and skilled Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our committed team and make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality, person-centred care to residents with complex health need
  • Understanding individualhealth and wellbeingneeds
  • Support residents with daily activities including personal care, mobility, nutrition, and emotional well-being
  • Work closely with nurses and multidisciplinary teams to follow care plans
  • Maintain accurate care records and report changes in residentsconditions
  • Promote dignity, choice and respect at all times

About You

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting (complex care experience desirable but not essential full training provided)
  • A caring, empathetic nature and a genuine desire to help others
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it) is a plus
  • Willingness to learn and undertake further clinical training
  • Able to deal with, and defuse, challenging situations
  • Experience in Acquired Brain Injury, Challenging behaviour,
