Job summary

Independent Community Care Management Limited is hiring for a care professional to support a gentleman in his 60s with spinal cord injury, tracheostomy, and ventilation needs. The role focuses on comfort, safety, and positive impact in a home-care setting.

The successful candidate will join a dedicated care team, receive full induction, and have opportunities for career progression and leadership roles. DBS check is fully covered by the employer.

What you’ll do

Our client is a gentleman in his 60s who has a spinal cord injury and has a tracheostomy.

At all times you will ensure his comfort and safety, where its a vital role that makes a real difference.

Our client loves blogging and working in his home office, he also enjoys watching tv shows.

This rewarding role requires a confident, caring and friendly care professional with a willingness to make a positive impact on our client's life.

The clinical tasks involved in this role include:

• Tracheostomy Management
• Ventilator Management
• PEG Feeding
• Suctioning / Cough Assist
• Catheter Care & Bowel Management

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

A background in complex care with spinal injuries would be preferred. Prior to being selected for an interview you will need to have experience with tracheostomies.
