Job summary

Interserve Healthcare is seeking a Complex Care Assistant to support a young gentleman with an acquired brain injury and learning disabilities, including tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, and medication administration, with full training and clinical support.

You will perform tracheostomy management, PEG feeding, suctioning, moving & handling equipment, and provide personal care, with regular weekend availability. Training is provided, and DBS checks are covered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a complex care role is not essential but advantageous.
• Must be available for Saturday and Sunday shifts regularly.

What you'll do

Join us as a Complex Care Assistant and expand your skills with full training and clinical support in areas such as tracheostomy care, moving and handling equipment and medication administration. You’ll be supporting a young gentleman with an acquired brain injury, learning disabilities and a tracheostomy.

On your day-to-day you will be supporting with a variety of clinical interventions, this will include:

• Tracheostomy Management
• PEG Feed Management
• The use of Suction Machines
• Administering Medication
• Using Moving & Handling Equipment
• Providing Personal Care

Skills & Requirements

Previous experience in a complex care assistant role is not essential, but experience in the following would be extremely advantageous:

• Tracheostomy Management
• PEG Feeding
• Suctioning

• Moving & Handling Equipment.

You must be available for both Saturday & Sunday regularly.
