Job summary

Retain Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Clinical Support Worker to join our team covering Melksham, Chippenham, Calne, Trowbridge, Devizes and surrounding areas. You will assist clients with personal care, mobility and clinical needs in their own homes, with a variety of shifts to suit your lifestyle.

The role includes PEG feeding, stoma care, and support for spinal injuries or long-term neurological conditions, using specialist equipment while promoting independence and social engagement in

Qualifications

• Must be an experienced healthcare professional.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• NVQ Level 3 in Social Care is desirable.
• Full training can be provided for PEG, stoma and spinal injuries.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily personal care and complex mobility needs.
• Manage clinical requirements, including PEG feeding and stoma care.
• Provide specialist support for spinal injuries and long-term neurological conditions.
• Use moving and assisting equipment (ceiling track hoists, electric wheelchairs, lifting aids).
• Promote independence, companionship and social engagement within the community.

The Main Duties And Responsibilities Include

• Supporting clients with their daily personal care and complex mobility needs.
• Managing clinical requirements, specifically PEG feeding and stoma care.
• Providing specialist support for individuals with spinal injuries and other long-term neurological conditions.
• Competent use of moving and assisting equipment, including ceiling track hoists, electric wheelchairs, and various lifting aids.
• Promoting independence, providing companionship, and facilitating social engagement within the community.

Requirements

• Must be an experienced healthcare professional
• Prior clinical experience is highly preferred, but full training can be provided for specific tasks (PEG, stoma, and spinal injuries)
• An NVQ Level 3 in Social Care is highly desirable.
• Must hold a FULL UK driving license.
