Job summary

SeeMeHired.com is seeking a dedicated Complex Care Support Worker to assist adults and children in the community with complex health needs. You will provide patient-centered care and empower clients to live fulfilling, independent lives at home.

The role offers ongoing training, four weeks rota in advance, and opportunities for career progression within a supportive team environment. A valid UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in a Complex Care role.
  • Competency in clinical skills such as tracheostomy care, PEG feeding and ventilation.
  • Experience using digital care planning systems.
  • Excellent communication and a calm, professional attitude.
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Adults or Children).
  • Current First Aid training.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality clinical care including PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and related tasks.
  • Providing daily living support to promote independence and well-being.
  • Maintaining digital care plans, risk assessments, and incident reports.
  • Working with families, carers, and MDTs to ensure safe and effective care.

Essential Requirements for this Care Job

About the role

Your Responsibilities as a Complex Care Worker

In this vitalhealth and social carerole, you will be responsible for providing sophisticated clinical care and daily support. Your key duties will include:

  • Delivering high-qualitycomplex clinical care, including:

    • PEG Feedingand management.

    • Tracheostomy Care.

    • Ventilator and BiPAP Management.

    • Spinal Injury Support.

    • Cough Assist and Oxygen Therapy.

  • Supporting clients withdaily living skillsto promote independence and well-being.

  • Maintaining accuratedigital care plans, risk assessments, and incident reports.

  • Working collaboratively withfamilies, carers, and multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs)to ensure consistent, safe and effective care.

Required Criteria
  • Confidence in using digital care planning systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and a calm, resilient and professional attitude.
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
