Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group is seeking a compassionate Complex Care Support Worker in Loughborough to support a client with quadriplegia who is at risk of autonomic dysreflexia and sleep apnoea. You will join a brand-new team dedicated to transforming the client’s life with dedication and reliability.

You will perform ventilation support, bowel management, medication administration, and personal care, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical tasks such as ventilation support, bowel management, medication administration, and moving & handling is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ventilation support for client care.
• Bowel management and manual evacuation as required.
• Medication administration to support daily care.
• Providing personal care to the client.

Shifts:Days and Nights available: 8 am - 9 pm | 8 pm - 9 am

Driving Required: Yes - Access to your own vehicle and a full manual UK driving licence is essential.

Job Description

What you'll do

Our client is a gentleman who has quadriplegia due to a spinal injury and they are also to susceptible to episodes of autonomic dysreflexia and sleep apnoea.

We are looking for someone to be apart of a brand new team, who shows compassion, dedication and reliability into helping towards transform the client's life to the best way possible.

You will be involved in a multitude of clinical interventions where full training will be given and this can include:

• Ventilation Support
• Bowel Management
• Medication Administration
• Providing Personal Care.

Experience required in the following clinical tasks would make your application extremely advantageous prior to an interview commencing:

• Ventilation Support
• Bowel Management (Inclusive of Manual Evac.)
• Medication Administration
• Moving & Handling Equipment
