Job summary

Complete Care Amegreen, part of CCH, is seeking compassionate carers for a brand-new Complex Care team in Loughborough. You will support a gentleman with quadriplegia, including ventilation and personal care, as part of a multidisciplinary team. Full training and induction are provided, no prior experience required, and shifts run days and nights.

Qualifications

• Full training provided – no prior care experience required.
• Willingness to work day and night shifts.
• Ability to work with a client with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide ventilation support.
• Provide catheter care and bowel management.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Assist with personal care and daily activities.
• Use manual handling equipment safely.

Pay: £13.75 per hour

Shifts: Days and Nights available: 8 am - 9 pm | 8 pm - 9 am

Driving Required: Yes - Access to your own vehicle and a full manual UK driving licence is essential.

Job Description

What you'll do

Our client is a gentleman who has quadriplegia due to a spinal injury and they are also to susceptible to episodes of autonomic dysreflexia and sleep apnoea.

We are looking for someone to be part of a brand new team, who shows compassion, dedication and reliability into helping towards transform the client's life to the best way possible.

You will be involved in a multitude of clinical interventions where full training will be given and this can include:

• Ventilation Support
• Catheter Care
• Bowel Management
• Medication Administration
• Using Manual Handling Equipment
• Providing Personal Care.

What you'll need

Experience required in the following clinical tasks would make your application extremely advantageous prior to an interview commencing:

• Ventilation Support
• Catheter Care (Suprapubic)
• Bowel Management (Inclusive of Manual Evac.)
• Medication Administration
• Moving & Handling Equipment
