Job summary

Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH, is recruiting for a Complex Care role in Hoo, Medway. You'll work nights 10:30 pm – 7:30 am to support a child with multiple complex care and clinical needs.

Responsibilities include catheterisation, PEG feeding and medication administration via PEG, oxygen therapy, suctioning, personal care, and repositioning. Strong communication and empathy are essential.

Full training and DBS coverage provided; opportunities for progression within the care group.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care is essential for this position.
• PEG Feeding (Mickey Button) and Medication Administration via PEG are required.
• Moving & handling equipment knowledge is needed.

What you'll do

This challenging but rewarding role is for a child who has multiple complex care and clinical needs. On your day-to-day you will be required to complete the following tasks:

• Intermittent Catheterisation
• PEG Feed Management & Medication Administration via PEG
• Oxygen Therapy
• Suctioning
• Support with Personal Care & Repositioning Using Appropriate Equipment
• Providing Emotional Reassurance & Engagement With Strong Communication Skills, Reading Non-Verbal Social Cues.
