Job summary

Encompassborders is seeking a cheerful and friendly support worker to assist a gentleman living in Eyemouth with his morning routine, including using a ceiling tracker hoist and providing personal care.

You will work with a small team to support safety and dignity, and the role may involve driving to provide care in the community. A driver is essential for this role; training can be provided for moving and handling.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of moving and handling and first aid would be desirable but training can be provided.
• Driver essential due to location and care needs.

Responsibilities

• Support the gentleman to ensure safety and well-being.
• Assist with personal care needs, including catheter care.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the client’s equipment and surroundings.
• Develop a positive relationship with the gentleman and his family.
