Job summary

University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an enthusiastic non-clinical support worker to join the Lancaster Suite team at Royal Lancaster Infirmary. The role centers on supporting clinical care delivery and coordinating ward facilities.

You will help ensure a safe, clean, tidy and comfortable environment, assist with meals, and liaise with the nursing team to meet patient needs. This part-time post is fixed at 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Non-clinical duties that support clinical care delivery.
• Co-ordinate ward facilities and patient services to maintain a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• To co-ordinate all patient facilities services within the ward area.
• To ensure that the ward is a safe, clean, tidy and comfortable environment.
• Ensure that food is available to meet the patients' needs.
• Liaise with the nursing team when required regarding patients needs.
