Job summary

Lavoro Care in Liverpool is seeking dedicated Waking Night Children's Support Workers to join our growing team. You will provide overnight care in residential children's homes and supported living properties, ensuring safety, wellbeing and emotional support.

The role requires at least 6 months of UK care experience, excellent communication and teamwork, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' care-related experience within the UK.
• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight support to children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.
• Promote a safe, stable, and nurturing environment.
• Build positive and professional relationships with young people.
• Carry out regular welfare checks and complete accurate records.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents when required.
• Encourage independence and promote positive outcomes.
