Job summary

Keyline Care in Loughborough is recruiting compassionate Support Workers to join our team in a Supported Living setting. You will assist adults with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs to live safely, independently and with dignity.

The role involves waking night shifts, 36 hours per week, with weekend and bank holiday work. A minimum of one year in care is required and excellent communication is essential for safeguarding and record-keeping.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one years’ experience in a support or care role.
  • Confident working with individuals with complex needs or behaviours that challenge.
  • Strong communication skills and emotional resilience.
  • A passion and drive to make a difference.
  • A team player with a proactive, person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and support independence, choice, dignity and respect at all times.
  • Support individuals with daily living activities, including medication, meals, shopping, budgeting, household tasks, and may include personal care.
  • Encourage social inclusion and confidence in the community.
  • Monitor and promote individuals’ physical and mental wellbeing.
  • Follow and implement person-centred support plans.
  • Support individuals with personal goals.
  • Use training to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours.
  • Work with your team to maintain high-quality support.
  • Maintain accurate up-to-date daily records, reports and incident forms.
