Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist an individual living with Korsakoff syndrome in St Asaph, North Wales. The role is part-time (3 days per week, 10:30am–2:00pm) with flexibility to cover weekends, holidays and sickness as part of a consistent care team.

You will support daily routines, accompany the client to appointments and the gym, encourage independence, and promote healthy lifestyle choices.

Qualifications

• Part-time role with 3 days per week (10:30–14:00).
• Support a single client with Korsakoff syndrome in North Wales.
• Flexibility to cover weekends, holidays and sickness.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and organising daily and weekly routines.
• Accompany client to appointments and activities.
• Promote independence with guidance and reassurance.
• Provide companionship and meaningful conversations.
• Support community access and outings.
