Job summary

Voyage Care in Urmston is seeking a Female* Support Worker to help people gain independence in daily living within a supportive team. The role involves teaching life skills, assisting with personal care, and encouraging community engagement across a range of activities.

You will work with individuals requiring enhanced support, including mental health, autism, and trauma. A full UK driving licence is required, with DBS checks and references as part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Must have full UK driving license.
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
• Experience supporting individuals with enhanced needs including mental health, autism and trauma.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain more independence in daily lives within a dynamic team.
• Teach life skills, assist with personal care, and encourage access to local communities and activities.
• Support participation in activities and social outings, including evenings out and leisure.
