Job summary

MacIntyre is hiring a Support Worker to assist Daniel* who has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. The role involves hands-on, person-centred care, including PEG feeding and mobility support, within a dedicated team.

Applicants should be confident, reliable, and able to work well with others; a full UK driving licence is essential as driving service vehicles is required. We welcome diverse backgrounds and values-driven care.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required and willingness to drive as part of the role.
• Confidence in physically demanding support situations.
• Teamwork and clear communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Daniel* with PEG feeding.
• Providing physical support and moving & handling assistance for cerebral palsy.
• Supporting him in managing epilepsy, following care plans.
• Working proactively to support positive outcomes.
• Collaborating with the wider support team to ensure consistency of care.
