Job summary

Prime Life in Brigg, North Lincolnshire is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide dignified care and companionship for residents living with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. The role offers full or part-time hours, with shifts from 8am to 8pm as part of a 7-day pattern, and a focus on encouraging independence and participation in daily activities.

Applicants should be patient, understanding and respectful of individual abilities; full training is provided.

• Must have genuine caring nature, patience and respect for residents, with ability to support individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Providing respectful and dignified support to residents
• Encouraging residents to achieve the highest quality of life
• Providing companionship while giving emotional and practical support
• Assisting residents with daily living decisions
• Helping with day-to-day activities including personal care and activities
• Promoting resident independence in meal prep and during meals
• Working with professionals to create individualized care plans
