Job summary

Achieve together in Brigg, North Lincolnshire, seeks compassionate Support Workers to empower people to live independently with tailored care and community engagement. The role focuses on dignity, respect and inclusive activities, with full training provided and opportunities for career progression.

You will work within our deaf services, supporting daily enrichment, learning new skills, and staying connected with loved ones while maintaining high standards of care and documentation.

Qualifications

• Care Certificate to be completed within the first 6 months in post.
• Level 2 in Adult Care or equivalent – desirable.
• Working within our deaf services, BSL Level 1 qualification – desirable.
• This role will require a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Enhancing quality of life for the people we support, helping them progress towards goals.
• Maintaining health, wellbeing and personal care in line with policies.
• Complying with health and safety, safeguarding, and reporting concerns.
• Encouraging access to opportunities and community activities.
• Supporting contact with family and participation in social activities.
• Maintaining accurate records, care plans and daily reports.
• Using each individual's preferred communication method.
• Working as part of a team and contributing to open communication.
• Supporting behaviours that challenge safely with trained approaches.
