Job summary

Advance is hiring a Support Worker in Basingstoke to help customers with learning disabilities, autism and other needs live the lives they choose. You will work 30 contracted hours weekly, including weekends, with duties spanning personal care, meals, appointments and social activities.

No previous care experience is required; values and empathy are key. Training and support are provided to help you grow within social care.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; values and compassion matter most.
• Good communication, teamwork and the ability to keep accurate records are essential.
• Willingness to complete Care Certificate and relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene if required.
• Administer medications if required.
• Assist with meals and cooking.
• Support attendance at medical appointments and social activities.
• Maintain and update care plans and records; keep training up to date.
