Qualifications

  • Experience in care work or similar setting preferred.
  • SVQ in Health & Social Care or equivalent required/preferred.
  • SSSC membership is desirable.
  • Full driving licence (manual) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents.
  • Assist with daily living, personal care, activities and community involvement.
  • Assist with medication, care planning, risk assessments and safeguarding.
  • Support residents to attend appointments, workshops and activities.
  • Help with household tasks: cooking, cleaning and laundry.
  • Support cultural, social and spiritual activities in line with Camphill ethos.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, volunteers and the wider community; maintain records.

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents, promoting their dignity, independence, wellbeing and individual choices.
  • Support residents with daily living, personal care, communication, activities and community involvement.
  • Assist with medication, care planning, risk assessments and safeguarding in line with Corbenic policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support residents to attend appointments, workshops and activities, encouraging participation and independence.
  • Help create a warm, welcoming home environment by contributing to household tasks such as cooking, cleaning and laundry.
  • Support the daily running of the household, including residents’ cultural, social and spiritual lives, in line with the Camphill ethos.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers and the wider community to ensure residents receive consistent and compassionate support.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing improvements in the care and support provided.

  • Relevant Qualification (SVQ in Health & Social care or equivalent)
